Your profile:
– experience of choral singing, preferably in an unconducted ensemble
– formally trained voices preferred – ability to sing jazz/pop style
(as well as classical)
– excellent sightreading and independent partsinging
– capacity to blend (musically and personally) into a group with
a long-term outlook
The
group VoxpoP:
– Male-voice vocal ensemble formed in 2002
– A capella singing, without conductor
– Made up principally of ex-choristers (French and German boys'
choirs)
– Repertoire church music, choral art songs, vocal jazz and pop
arrangements for 4 or more voices
– Twice selected for masterclasses with the King's Singers (2005
& 2009)
– 2 recordings (CD albums) of which one in post-production
– 6 to 8 concerts annually (including Festivals and an annual summer
tour)
– Rehearsal weekends once every 6 weeks
– Individual preparation essential
– Non-professional statute (partial reimbursement of expenses only)
